Destinations

All of these destinations came into my life via slow travel; either by cruise ships river ships, trains or my camper van. Some places were possible to experience because of where the ships docked or the train stopped.

These stories are about where I’ve been and what memories stayed with me. Sometimes it’s their history, sometimes breathtaking or unique landscape, sometimes an unexpected quirky destination. I’ve written these stories for not only a mental walk down memory lane but to inspire you to pay them a visit, too.
